Elyanna Drops Unapologetic Music Video for ‘Yabn El Eh’
Directed by Adam Kudeimati, the video reimagines Levantine identity through a temporary lens, featuring Elyanna dressed in traditional attire and throwing a chaotic DIY party in a parking lot.
Palestinian-Chilean artist Elyanna reveals a striking new music video for ‘Yabn El Eh,’ a highlight from her debut album ‘Woledto.’
Shot in Los Angeles and directed by Adam Kudeimati, the video reimagines Levantine identity through a contemporary lens. Elyanna, dressed in traditional attire, throws a chaotic DIY party in a parking lot, joined by her siblings and friends, blending raw energy with poignant cultural references.
The production, originally crafted by Feras Margieh, Massari, and Nasri Atweh, shifts in the video, spotlighting the deep, resonant drumming of tabla baladi and the intricate textures of an electro-acoustic oud. Picking up where ‘Ganeni’ left off, ‘Yabn El Eh’ flips the script on heartbreak, embracing defiance, love, and authenticity in equal measure.
