Dubai’s Vinyl Souk to Host Mini Festival November 24th
The festival will feature a series of live performances, DJ sets, film screenings and record store pop-ups.
Vinyl Souk DXB, a community-based platform revitalizing analog and vinyl culture across the UAE, has recently announced a mini festival on November 24th.
Set to take place at 25Hours Hotel One Central, the festival aims to celebrate the UAE’s vibrant alternative and subculture arts and music scene with a day-to-night experience, crafted for analog-loving individuals and vinyl collectors.
“This event aims to unite the region’s passionate music community under one roof, to share, connect, and introduce new audiences to the thriving homegrown culture of talents,” Serina Pinheiro, co-founder of Vinyl Souk, tells SceneNoise.
The festival will feature curated stages such as Souk Sessions by NightJar, the Bass Stage by SAWT Systems, the Live Stage by Temple and The Flipe Side’ Electronic Stage which will be on a terrace. There will be a series of live performances and DJ sets from a roster of established and up-and-coming regional and local talents like Sahdi Megallaa, Omar Fayyad, Tarik Omar, the Sandra Ivette Quartet, and Radish Cheddar Experiment, among others.
Meanwhile, the festival will also feature film screenings, a marketplace, and record store pop-ups from local music vendors to community-driven art and culinary experiences.
