Halliburton, the American oilfield services company, plans to equip four deepwater natural gas production wells in Egypt by the end of November to enhance gas production capacity.

Having completed the first well, Halliburton has initiated production as part of the 10th phase of the Burullus project in the West Delta deep water concession. Two additional wells are currently being prepared. The company aims to finish work on the second well within this week, with the third well expected to be ready by the end of November.

Additionally, Halliburton plans to prepare two new gas production wells in the Reefin field in the West Delta, operated by BP, during November. The drilling has been completed, and Halliburton is currently lowering the pipes for upcoming production.

Finally, Halliburton is implementing well stimulation projects across numerous gas fields in Egypt in line with the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum’s policy to maximize gas production and compensate for the current decline in gas well output. The company is employing a range of technological methods to boost gas production and minimize the associated water production from oil and gas.
