Red Sea Film Festival to Screen Restored Egyptian & Hollywood Classics

The Kunooz Al-Bahr Al-Ahmar (‘Treasures of the Red Sea’) program at the 2024 Red Sea International Film Festival will feature three Egyptian classics that have been restored in collaboration with Egypt’s Media Production City, alongside Michael Mann’s Hollywood crime masterpiece ‘Heat’.
Running from December 5th to the 14th, the festival will showcase these films at its new location in Al-Balad, Jeddah. The program honours Egypt’s cinematic legacy while highlighting the festival’s commitment to preserving Arab cinema and bringing global classics to local audiences.
