Egypt Named Amongst Top 10 African Nations for Infrastructure Progress
Over the past decade, Egypt has invested more than EGP 10 trillion in infrastructure development, with a focus on critical sectors such as roads, ports, and railways.
In a recent report released by Business Africa, Egypt has been recognized as one of the top 10 African nations for infrastructure improvements in 2023, showcasing its significant advancements alongside four other Arab countries: Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Libya.
Over the past decade, Egypt has invested more than EGP 10 trillion in infrastructure development, with a focus on critical sectors such as roads, ports, and railways. These investments aim to create jobs, promote inclusive entrepreneurship, and facilitate trade, all of which contribute to resilient economic growth.
The progress is attributed to the growing strategic alliances between African governments, private investors and international organizations, all working collaboratively to bridge the infrastructure funding gap and foster sustainable growth across the continent.
