Al Camileon’s New Collection Celebrates Local Culture with Collabs
Where can you find Dara’s Ice Cream, Brown Nose and Beatroot Records in one place? It’s all wrapped in Al Camileon’s new collection.
Egyptian streetwear label Al Camileon debuts its new fall/winter collection, featuring collaborations with local favorites Dara’s Ice Cream, Beatroot Records, and Brown Nose Coffee. This collection celebrates community and culture, expressed through three limited-edition pieces that reflect Al Camileon’s admiration for these iconic brands.
The Muse
“The collection is a statement of pride shaped by individuals who inspire us, colored by the entities we love and respect,” says Zeyad AlGhorab, co-founder and creative director. “It’s a love story,” he adds, describing the collection’s motto as an homage to the creative contributions of other industries.
In line with Al Camileon’s ethos of transformation and storytelling, the collection extends the brand’s journey. “We are always on a romantically curious journey to explore creative possibilities between fashion and the world around us.” For AlGhorab, each piece tells a story, crafted to be cherished, collected, and ultimately reflective of one’s identity.
Each Al Camileon collection is a universe beyond clothing. Through storytelling, each release represents a new chapter, and each campaign contributes to an ongoing saga. Previous collections like Love Speech and Love Hangover explored love and identity, while this fall/winter drop shifts the focus to community. By partnering with Egyptian brands, Al Camileon creates pieces that serve as wearable emblems of shared culture and admiration, reflecting the intertwined narratives that shape them.
The Collaborations
Al Camileon’s approach to collaboration is rooted in their core philosophy. “Our vision has always been ‘a variable surface and a variable skin,’ so multiple collaborations only make sense to our brand,” AlGhorab shares.
The partnerships with Dara’s Ice Cream, Beatroot Records, and Brown Nose Coffee combine the worlds of food, music, and fashion—a fusion of creative forces that enrich everyday life. “Food and music are like friends that make everything better. Creating a garment takes reason and design, and there’s no greater reason than the love and respect we have for the people who bring them into our lives,” AlGhorab explains.
The Collection Dissected
This season, Al Camileon revisits some of its best-selling silhouettes with updated techniques, including faded wide-leg jeans, loose-fit pants, and structured jackets. “We wanted to carry forward our embossed emblem this season,” says AlGhorab. The embossed emblem, a recurring motif, appears on jackets and denim as a symbol of continuity and identity.
“Our focus is on fabric as our main communication tool, using special dyeing, washing, and treatment techniques to convey a distinctive feel.” This approach is evident in the collection’s aged and stained hues, reworked denim, and the introduction of nylon vests and puffer jackets, all unified by a stripped-back aesthetic—minimal, raw, and inspired by the artistry of their collaborators.
The Collection in Three Words
“Minimal, raw, collective.”
How to Style It
The Designer Suggests: “We always style them how we wear them—you can always buy the skin,” AlGhorab tells Scene Styled, meaning each piece is designed to integrate seamlessly into any wardrobe. AlGhorab envisions these pieces as an extension of the wearer’s identity, shaped by the textures and stories that define Al Camileon. The collection invites wearers to express their individuality, making each item a part of their personal expression.
Scene Styled Suggests: Pair these pieces with bold accessories like New Balance 530 sneakers, Loewe’s anagram corduroy baseball cap, Amel Batita’s Brown Brocot silk scarf styled over the cap, Acne Studios’ alpaca-blend scarf, Hamilton’s American Classic Boulton watch, or Saint Laurent’s chain bracelet. This collection combines casual, relaxed silhouettes with a touch of boldness, inviting wearers to connect with Egyptian art, culture, and daily life.

Stand-Out Pieces
While the creative director insists, “you can never pick a favorite child,” two pieces in particular stand out: the Al Camileon Studio X Dara’s Ice Cream Aged Pink Sweatsuit and the Washed Brown Embossed Denim Jacket.
The Washed Brown Embossed Denim Jacket combines rugged style with a modern edge. This collarless, stone-washed jacket features dropped shoulders and a relaxed fit, perfect for layering, with an embossed logo on the back for a subtle statement.
The Al Camileon Studio X Dara’s Ice Cream Aged Pink Sweatsuit is crafted from overdyed cotton-blend fabric, giving it a worn-in, vintage aesthetic. The hoodie has a logo print on the chest, a spacious kangaroo pocket, and dropped shoulders for a relaxed fit. Comfortable, stylish, and pink? We’re sold.
The Verdict
Brought to life through thoughtful collaborations, each piece in Al Camileon’s collection carries a signature minimal, raw aesthetic, enhanced by local partnerships. Al Camileon has crafted a versatile lineup, designed for mixing, matching, and personal expression.
