Health & Wellness Brand Norshek Opens Store at the Giza Pyramids
Founded in 2020 in El Gouna, Norshek offers a wide range of products from natural soaps and shampoos to herbal teas.
Egyptian wellness and health brand Norshek has opened its first Cairo store at the Sphinx Station, located near the Great Pyramids of Giza. Founded in 2020 in El Gouna, the brand has since expanded to the North Coast, making this new location a significant milestone for the home-grown business.
"Opening at the Pyramids is a dream come true for us," Norshek Fawzy, Co-Founder and CEO, tells CairoScene. "When we started the company, my husband and business partner Nabil insisted that if we were to ever open in Cairo it would have to be at the Pyramids. At the time, we thought he was crazy. However, the location could not be more suitable for us. 'Norshek' in Arabic means the first light of dawn, and the store, situated in front of the Sphinx with the Pyramids in view, aligns perfectly with the sunrise."
Whilst offering its products at retailers such as Gourmet and online via delivery platforms like Botit, Norshek has from the outset been highly selective in its choice of flagship stores. “We want every visit to one of our stores to be a unique and memorable experience, where customers can feel completely relaxed and unplug from life’s stresses," Norshek explains.
While the original El Gouna store hosts musical jam sessions, and the Sahil location - right on the beach - offers movie nights, the new store at the Pyramids introduces a herbalist bar, where visitors can create their own detoxifying mixtures using locally sourced organic herbs.
Founded by the entrepreneurial duo Norshek Fawzy and Nabil Rostom, alongside their friend and business partner Khaled Abd El Reheem, Norshek offers a wide range of products, from natural soaps and shampoos to herbal teas. The brand is committed to 100% ethically produced, sustainably sourced, clean, and green products - all made in Egypt.
