AED7.7 Billion Housing Package Supports 5,374 Abu Dhabi Citizens

Coinciding with the UAE’s 53rd Union Day, the package supports senior citizens, retirees with low incomes and families of deceased citizens.

Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, has approved the disbursement of the third housing benefits package for 2024 to citizens of Abu Dhabi, coinciding with the UAE's Union Day celebrations. Valued at AED 7.72 billion, this package has been distributed to 5,374 citizens across the emirate. 

The package includes housing loans totaling more than AED 3.569 billion, benefiting 2,373 citizens. It also provides residential land and housing grants worth AED 3.67 billion, supporting 2,540 citizens. Additionally, senior citizens, retirees with low incomes, and families of deceased citizens have been exempted from housing loan payments amounting to over AED 486 million, directly benefiting 461 citizens. 

With this disbursement, the total value of housing benefits distributed since the establishment of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority has reached approximately AED 162.1 billion, covering more than 118,700 housing benefits.
