Egyptian rap-mahraganat duo Double Zuksh has joined forces with South African rapper Sho Madjozi on a new track titled 'Zamaleky,' featured on the upcoming compilation album 'Chromesthesia: The Colour of Sound Vol. 1'. The album is a tour de force of global electronic music producers, from Egypt’s 3Phaz who collaborates on a track reinterpreting zar for the Miami strip-club, to papi Nick Leon (tratratrax) who collaborates with Palestine’s Julmud and Deena Abdelwahed on an intro that moves between dembow and khaleeji rhythm, to the continental traipse that is Dark Out, a sultry moody percussive power-house collab between Kelman Duran, Asher Gamedze, Maurice Louce and Hannah Elsisi. Curated by British-Egyptian historian Hannah El-Sisi, the album explores Afro-diasporic rhythms, bringing together diverse artists including Deena Abdelwahed, Julmud, 3Phaz, and Maurice Louca.

Produced by Coolpix Boy, 'Zamaleky' combines South African amapiano rhythms with Egyptian mizmar grooves, layered with Double Zuksh’s mahraganat-influenced rap style and Sho Madjozi’s distinctive vocal performance. As the album's lead single, it reflects 'Chromesthesia''s focus on bridging cultures. The album will be released on November 8, with a live debut scheduled for November 9 at Le Guess Who? festival.
