Producer Mohaimen has been an active figure in the Egyptian rap scene since 2018, collaborating with various artists while also pursuing solo projects. Whenever the two come together in the studio, they consistently deliver fan favourites, including their work on one of the most acclaimed rap albums of the past decade, ‘El Sahaba’. Notably, the album’s B-sides feature the track ‘Amtar’, which became the biggest hit on the album, eventually turning into an anthem of modern, emotionally charged Egyptian rap.
Mohaimen introduced a distinct sound on ‘El Sahaba’, characterised by his minimalist approach to production.
