Cairo-based producer Molotof has unveiled his latest track, ‘Amazigh (The Free People)’, a tribute to Amazigh culture.

Departing from his typically complex sonic arrangements, Molotof adopts a more monotonic sound structure, creating a soothing atmosphere that evokes serenity and freedom. The track is characterized by the use of traditional instruments like the oud and nai, crafting simple yet emotionally charged melodies supported by static drum patterns. Vocal samples, including the Moroccan ululation (zaghareet), further enrich the cultural homage.

The accompanying music video, directed and edited by Molotof himself, features visuals of desert landscapes intertwined with shots of the producer playing his instruments. The track marks a different direction in Molotof's artistic evolution, showcasing his ability to explore new sonic territories while staying true to his distinctive style.
