Sheikh Zayed’s Willow’s is Headed to District 5
East Cairo gourmands, your discerning taste buds are about to ‘meat’ their match.
Sheikh Zayed-born brunch spot, Willow’s is opening a new branch in New Cairo’s District 5. Long beloved for their feel-good homemade cuisine and truly Instagrammable interiors, Willow's has carved out a reputation as a place where patrons with a discerning palate can truly unwind and recharge - literally and metaphorically. If the OG branch in Arkan Plaza is anything to go by, we can expect Willow’s signature hospitality and home-away-from-home atmosphere to take centre stage at the new District 5 hub.
If you're one of those New Cairo dwellers who'd rather fall victim to a pyramid scheme than endure the hour-and-a-half drive to the west side of the city, we understand. You probably haven't heard of Willow's, so here’s the culinary rundown. Offering both a breakfast menu and an all-day menu, Willow’s is all about classic favourites deliciously elevated with a boujee twist, with omelettes, benedicts, muffins, pancakes, and bakeries up for grabs in the am.
For the lunch and dinner menu, Willow’s has crafted some signature dishes that are pretty difficult to find elsewhere, with appetizers like the pomegranate fried brie cheese particularly standing out. Beef Thai salads and chicken roulades to tomahawks and ribeyes straight off the grill, Willow’s is the place to go when you’re tired of going places.
Willow’s is set to open its District 5 doors very soon, with a little birdie hinting that we might want to keep an eye out over the weekend.
