Next Sunday, June 30th, has been declared as an official public holiday following an announcement by Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly. The holiday marks the date of the 2013 revolution, which took place on June 30th - the one-year anniversary of former President Mohamed Morsi’s inauguration.

As usual, the public holiday will count as paid leave for employees in all ministries and other government entities, as well as the wider public sector. That being said, the Prime Minister stressed that scheduled school exams would continue as planned.
