Riyadh Municipality has signed five contracts worth SAR 6 billion ($1.6 billion) to improve roads in the Saudi capital, covering approximately 83 million square meters over a five-year period.
The projects will involve the rehabilitation and asphalting of the city’s roads, with work expected to continue until 2028. This initiative aims to elevate Riyadh's standing according to international road quality standards while enhancing the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of services.
