New Oxford-Partnered Network to Advance Public Health Research in MENA
With a focus on AI applications, the MENA Global Health Network will establish a central hub in Dubai.
Canadian University Dubai (CUD), in partnership with the University of Oxford, has launched the MENA Global Health Network (TGHN), establishing a central hub in Dubai to drive public health research across the region. The network, inaugurated at CUD’s City Walk campus, brings together regional institutions, government, and healthcare organizations to address pressing public health challenges with a focus on artificial intelligence applications and health equity.
With strategic partners from 14 countries, the MENA TGHN hub will support research and knowledge-sharing tailored to regional healthcare needs. This initiative aligns with the UAE’s Health Vision and 2031 Vision, aiming to position the MENA region as a leader in global health innovation.
The hub is set to facilitate capacity-building, data science, and policies that ensure sustainable public health outcomes across the region.
