Ride Egypt and Good Karma Sanctuary have introduced water stations for working horses and donkeys at the Great Pyramids of Giza. This marks the first time in nearly three decades that such facilities are available at the site. So far, two water stations have been installed, with 40 approved in total.
Ride Egypt, known for its horse riding holidays in Egypt, has partnered with Good Karma Sanctuary, a clinic providing 24-hour free veterinary care for horses and donkeys in Egypt, to implement this project. Each water station costs EUR 100, and donations can be made through the organizations' official mediums, listed on their respective Instagram pages, to support the remaining installations.
