Inaugural Esports World Cup Powers On in Riyadh
The Esports World Cup, taking place in Riyadh, has a record USD 60 million prize pool.
The first edition of the Esports World Cup has begun in Saudi Arabia. Around 1,500 global esports champions are heading to Boulevard City to compete over the course of eight weeks for a piece of the record USD 60 million prize pool.
The tournament comprises 22 championships in popular esports games, including Apex Legends, Call of Duty, Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, League of Legends, Street Fighter VI and Fortnite.
Up until the end of the competition on August 25th, visitors can enjoy numerous events, activities and interactive shows suitable for all ages, including a series of live performances by world class musical acts including the likes of Wiz Khalifa, DJ Snake and Jack Harlow.
