Yahya Sinwar's death, confirmed by Hamas, raises questions about the handling of his remains by Israeli authorities.
Hamas official Khalil Al Hayya has announced the death of its leader, Yahya Sinwar, during clashes with Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip. Al Hayya expressed the movement’s pride in Sinwar’s contributions and leadership.
"The movement of Hamas mourns the leader Yahya Sinwar," Al Hayya said during the announcement.
