Fuel Prices Increase Across Egypt Effective Friday October 18th
The price of 92-octane petrol has risen from EGP 13.75 to EGP 15.25 per litre, and 95-octane petrol now costs EGP 17 per litre, up from EGP 15.
The Petroleum Pricing Committee (PPC) has announced a hike in petrol and diesel prices across Egypt.
As of 6 AM today, Friday, October 18th, the price of 80-octane petrol has increased from EGP 12.25 to EGP 13.75 per litre. The price of 92-octane petrol has risen from EGP 13.75 to EGP 15.25 per litre, and 95-octane petrol now costs EGP 17 per litre, up from EGP 15.
Regular diesel has seen an increase from EGP 11.5 to EGP 13.5 per litre. Additionally, industrial mazut has increased from EGP 8500 to EGP 9500 per tonne, and car gas prices have been adjusted from EGP 6.5 to EGP 7 per cubic metre, including VAT.
