The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia kicked off its 2024 Environment Week on April 28th, highlighting the nation's commitment to environmental preservation and sustainable development until May 5th.
Organised by the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, the event will feature workshops, lectures, field activities, and awareness campaigns aimed at encouraging citizens to safeguard natural resources and promote sustainable growth.
Since the launch of Vision 2030 in 2016, Saudi Arabia has made strides towards a more sustainable ecological future. The nation has implemented a comprehensive national strategy for the environment and introduced a range of legislation, strategies, and plans to conserve and develop the environment. Noteworthy among these efforts are the Saudi Green and Middle East Green initiatives.
