Emirates & Colombia’s Avianca Announce New Codeshare Partnership
The agreement will kick in starting June 4th, and will increase connectivity between the two national airlines.
Emirates airline and Avianca, the national carrier of Colombia, have announced a new codeshare partnership, enhancing connectivity for customers travelling between Colombia and the UAE via Europe.
Starting June 4th, 2024, Emirates passengers flying to Madrid, Barcelona or London-Heathrow can seamlessly connect with Avianca’s flights to Bogotá, Medellin and Cali in Colombia. Conversely, Avianca passengers can connect to Emirates flights from these European cities to Dubai.
This agreement allows passengers to book inclusive itineraries on both airlines using a single ticket and benefit from a single baggage policy. Emirates now boasts commercial cooperation with 161 global partners. Booking for the new codeshare flights is already open on both airlines' websites.
