Egypt’s Olympic gold medalist Ahmed El Gendy was photographed participating in the five sports of the modern pentathlon at the 2024 Paris Olympics by Egyptian photographer Mosaab ElShamy.
The 24-year-old earned Egypt’s first gold medal in the modern pentathlon, after having won a silver medal at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. In these images, he is photographed participating in the fencing, swimming, riding, shooting and running disciplines of the sport.
