Dubai Supreme Council of Energy Launches Sustainability Awards Program

The Dubai Supreme Council of Energy launched the Dubai Demand Side Management Recognition Program, which aims to publicly recognize and award individuals and businesses that showcase responsible water and energy usage, and promote a holistic sustainability approach.
The council’s sustainability goals include reducing water consumption in Dubai by 30% by 2030 as well as reducing fuel consumption to ensure a sustainable green future. The program has received over 80 entries with innovations in efficient cooling and green buildings, with the committee announcing the winners by May 2024.
