Apple Inc., has filed a lawsuit against numerous fake Apple stores for infringing on their intellectual property rights.
Apple Inc., the American multinational corporation and technology company, has filed an urgent lawsuit against a number of stores in Egypt for infringing on the company’s intellectual property rights by using its logo and trademark, and selling counterfeit Apple devices.
Apple Inc. has stressed that it is the sole owner of the famed Apple trademark, and owns its famed Apple drawing logo in most countries of the world, including Egypt. Apple Inc.’s intellectual property rights are thus protected under Egypt’s Law 82 of 2002, which enables only that company to use its trademark and prevents others from violating this right.
