The Abu Dhabi Government unveiled a series of AI-powered digital initiatives aimed at transforming key sectors such as cybersecurity, culture, statistics and governance during the opening day in Dubai of GITEX Global 2024, the world’s largest technology showcase at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Among the standout initiatives is GovGPT, an AI tool launched by the Department of Government Enablement, designed to streamline workflows for government employees by offering easy access to various AI tools. The department also introduced the Cybersecurity Hackathon, encouraging UAE university students to explore their cybersecurity skills through simulated hacking challenges.
Abu Dhabi’s Statistics Centre launched Bayaan, a generative AI-powered decision-making platform that provides advanced data analytics and predictive indicators. This tool equips decision-makers with forward-looking insights, enabling them to make more informed and strategic choices.
Finally, Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism introduced an AI-powered audiobooks platform. This platform converts written texts into audio, making a wide array of literary content accessible to individuals with visual impairments or reading difficulties.
