1,000 Calves to Be Slaughtered to Aid the Vulnerable Over Eid
The initiative is part of the ‘Your breakfast with us on the day of Arafat’ initiative run by the House of Zakat and Charity.
Under the guidance of the Grand Imam of Al Azhar Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the House of Zakat and Charity has initiated the slaughter of 1,000 municipal calves to aid the most vulnerable families across various governorates. This endeavor, part of the ‘Your breakfast with us on the day of Arafat’ initiative, aims to provide joy through the distribution of alms meat before Eid Al Adha.
The House of Zakat and Charity assured the public of a three-day slaughter process under strict veterinary supervision to ensure the safety of the meat. Distribution procedures will commence in the first 10 days of Dhu al-Hijjah until sunset on the day of Arafat.
The House of Zakat and Charity invites participation from those willing to contribute 600 pounds for 2 kilos of meat.
