Manassat Film Festival Kicks Off at Zawya Cinema on May 30th
The weekend festival will take place from Thursday, May 30th to Saturday, June 1st.
The eighth edition of Manassat Film Festival will commence at Zawya Cinema in Downtown Cairo from May 30th to June 1st.
Brought to you by MasrdotBokra for Skills Development, attendees can expect to watch films like 'First Sky' by Lena Naassana, 'A Graduation Project About Cairo' by Mahmoud Yousef Khawaga, 'Try to Remember Me' by Jwayriah Sabri, 'This Is Paul' by Rosana Kassim, 'My Silent Dance' by Malek Nader, ‘Absence’ by Menna Salah, ‘As I Open My Eyes’ by Ghazzal Abdullah, ‘The Mess We Leave’ by Salma Darwish, amongst others.
A talk panel in Arabic will also take place, titled, 'Intimacy Coordination in the Arab Film and TV Industry', which will be led by filmmaker and instructor Sondos Shabayek, providing a walkthrough over the relatively new profession of intimacy coordination, and how movie professionals can utilize it within the realms of the Arab region’s film and television industry.
