AlUla Will Be Featured in Potsy Ponciroli's Action Film 'Motor City'
The film is part of a 10-picture slate deal between the production company Stampede Venture and Film AlUla.
The city of AlUla is expected to have a starring role in director Potsy Ponciroli’s upcoming action thriller ‘Motor City’. The cast features the likes of Alan Ritchson, Shailene Woodley, Ben Foster and Pablo Schreiber.
Ritchson leads the narrative as John Miller, a Detroit auto worker seeking redemption and revenge after being wrongfully framed by a local gangster and subsequently imprisoned. With Foster portraying the menacing local gangster who framed him and Woodley adding emotional depth as Miller's former girlfriend, the stage is set for a tale of resilience and retribution.
Ponciroli previously directed ‘Old Henry’ (2021), starring Tim Blake Nelson, which had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival.
Production for ‘Motor City’ is due to start on July 10th in New Jersey and Saudi Arabia.
