American singer-songwriter Alicia Keys made a return to Jeddah for International Women's Day, hosting the third edition of the ‘Women to Women’ initiative. The event, organised by MDLBEAST, featured a special impromptu performance with local music sensation Yasmin AlBitar, where they captivated audiences with a rendition of Keys' hit song ‘If I Ain't Got You’.

Taking place at Bet Zenel in the historic district of AlBalad, the private gathering brought together six influential Saudi women to discuss the evolving role of women in the Kingdom and the world. Against the backdrop of Jeddah's diverse cultural landscape, the event highlighted the significant contributions of these women to Saudi society.

The panellists, representing various sectors, shared inspiring stories of resilience and empowerment. Among them were Noura Bint Sadan, a talented artist known for her murals in Khobar; Mishaal Ashemimry, a pioneering aerospace engineer and entrepreneur; Huda Beydoun, an artist and photographer dedicated to teaching children with autism; Raha Moharrak, the first Saudi woman to summit Mount Everest; and Cosmicat, Saudi Arabia's first female superstar DJ and producer.

Led by moderator Hessah Alsanea, discussions covered a range of topics including overcoming adversity, challenging cultural norms, and fostering opportunities for women. The event served as a platform to celebrate the achievements of Saudi women and inspire future generations to break barriers and strive for success.
