Jeddah’s historic district has become a stargazing hotspot this Ramadan season. Throughout the month of Ramadan, astrology experts are inviting visitors to explore the cosmos and learn about the phases of the moon. State-of-the-art telescopes give attendees the opportunity to look into the heavens like never before. This event also gives a unique look into the holy month, with experts giving insights to the relationship between the lunar calendar and Ramadan.

This special event is hosted by the Ministry of Culture, and is one of many activities that can be found in Jeddah’s historic district this Ramadan season. When they are finished stargazing, visitors to Al-Balad can turn their attention to the food stalls, traditional performances, workshops, markets, cultural exhibitions and children’s sections that are located throughout the district. The event is held from 7 PM to 2 AM until April 9th.
