Egypt’s Agricultural Exports Reach USD 1.5 Billion in Four Months
Egyptian-sourced strawberries and potatoes were exported for the first time to Canada and Morocco, respectively.

Egypt exported more than 2.2 million tons of agricultural products, reaching a value of USD 1.5 billion during the first quarter of 2024, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation.
Egyptian-sourced strawberries and potatoes were exported for the first time to Canada and Morocco, respectively, as part of the ministry’s efforts to introduce Egyptian agricultural products to new international markets, ultimately increasing the state’s foreign currency reserves.
