Red Sea Authority Launches Campaign to Promote Tourism & Investment
The ‘More than a Sea’ campaign will promote the Authority’s goal of creating 210,000 tourism jobs by 2030.
The Saudi Red Sea Authority (SRSA) has launched the ‘More than a Sea’ campaign to promote its goal of creating 210,000 jobs, and help Red Sea tourism contribute SAR 85 billion to the kingdom’s GDP by 2030.
The campaign highlights the SRSA's four main pillars: regulation, sustainability, investment attraction, and the promotion of tourism experiences along the Red Sea. It outlines the authority’s responsibility for regulating marine tourism activities, such as issuing permits, developing infrastructure, and preserving the local marine environment. The campaign also seeks to attract both local and foreign investments, while promoting a variety of coastal tourism activities, including yachting, diving, snorkeling, and fishing.
Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast spans more than 1,800 km, featuring over 150 beaches, 1,000 islands, and 120 cultural, historical and ecological sites of interest.
