Streaming giant Netflix is coming out with a new wildlife documentary film that's all about Saudi Arabia on January 4th, 2024! Titled 'Horizon Saudi Arabia', the film showcases the kingdom's rich biodiversity and the official conservation efforts spearheaded by Saudi Arabia's National Center of Wildlife (NCW) alongside other collaborators.

The film was developed with expertise of an international team that specialises in wildlife documentation, as well as the participation of 13 Saudi researchers. The NCW played a major role in the production of the film through its scientific contributions as part of the Konoz Initiative, a program that works to document the cultural wealth of Saudi Arabia for international audiences. Previous documentaries by the Konoz Initiatives include 'A Difficult Stage', 'Nawras Al-Arab', 'What the Saudis Eat' and 'Saudi Atlas'.
