Ministry of Media Launches Initiative to Showcase Saudi Diversity
As part of the Global Harmony initiative, the ministry is partnering with the General Entertainment Authority to organise events during Riyadh Season.
The Ministry of Media has launched the Global Harmony initiative to showcase the diverse lives and cultures of residents across Saudi Arabia. This initiative will highlight cultural integration, professional contributions and the social activities of various expatriate communities.
As part of the initiative, the ministry is collaborating with the General Entertainment Authority to organise events during Riyadh Season. These events will feature cultural, artistic and folkloric performances, reflecting the rich tapestry of cultures that reside in Saudi Arabia.
Over the course of 45 days, the initiative will celebrate the cultures of nine countries, including India, the Philippines and Egypt, through concerts, traditional foods and family-friendly activities. This effort underscores the importance of cultural diversity in Saudi society and aims to foster a deeper understanding between locals and expatriates.
