Shangri-La Dubai & Abu Dhabi to Host Culinary Festival in October
Taste of Shangri-La will showcase the Asian luxury hotel chain’s eclectic range of restaurants through tasting menus.
Throughout October, Shangri-la Hotels in Dubai and Abu Dhabi will be running a month-long culinary festival Taste of Shangri-La, showcasing the Asian luxury hotel chain’s eclectic range of restaurants through specially curated tasting menus by leading hotel chefs.
Between October 5th and October 21st, Head Chef of Sichuanese Cuisine at Shangri-La Hotel Chengdu, Benson Peng, will be in the UAE to introduce diners to his signature takes on Sichuanese classics such as is Simmered Mandarin Fish with Vegetable and Assorted Mushroom in Spicy Chilli Oil.
Shangri-La Dubai’s Shang Palace will offer a four-course set menu of Cantonese cuisine, featuring dishes like the Red Rice Roll with Prawn and Sauteed Grouper Fillet with Walnuts and Lemon-Pepper Sauce. Next door, Hoi An will showcase Vietnamese cuisine with a three-course menu that includes Pomelo Salad with Lobster and flavourful Wagyu Beef with Capsicum and Black Pepper Sauce.
In Abu Dhabi, the hotel’s Bord Eau restaurant will offer a four-course set menu showcasing modern French dishes such as Seabass Ceviche with Guava Citrus and Slow-cooked Corn-fed Chicken Breast with Peanut Sauce.
