Saudi Arabia Imposes SAR 300,000 Fine for Workplace Abuse
This initiative is part of the enforcement of Saudi Arabia’s Protection from Abuse Law.

In an effort to combat abusive behaviour, Saudi Arabia has introduced severe penalties for violations occurring in workplaces, schools and places of worship. The Saudi Public Prosecution announced that individuals found guilty of such offences could face fines of up to SAR 300,000 and prison sentences of up to five years.
This initiative is part of the enforcement of the Protection from Abuse Law, which aims to safeguard individuals from violence and abuse across various settings.
