Athletes to Compete for Over SAR 200 Million in 3rd Saudi Games
Gold medalists will receive SAR 1 million, silver medalists will win SAR 300,000, while bronze medalists will get SAR 100,000.
The third edition of the Saudi Games begins in Riyadh under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman. This event will see hundreds of Saudi athletes competing in 52 events, including seven Paralympic sports, 10 demonstration sports and 15 youth sports categories.
The Saudi Games stand as the largest national sporting event in the Kingdom's history, offering a total prize pool exceeding SAR 200 million. Gold medalists will receive SAR 1 million, silver medalists will win SAR 300,000, while bronze medalists will get SAR 100,000. In youth categories, gold medalists will earn SR100,000, with silver and bronze medalists receiving SAR 50,000 and SAR 25,000, respectively.
Additionally, the torch for this year's Saudi Games was handed over to Emir of Riyadh Prince Faisal bin Bandar at Al-Hukm Palace on September 25th, marking the beginning of a promotional tour for the event.
