UN Announces World Conjoined Twins Day on November 24th
Upon the request of Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries, November 24th will be commemorated as World Conjoined Twins Day.

Upon the request of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as a number of other Arab League nations including Bahrain, Morocco, Qatar and Yemen, the United Nations General Assembly has proclaimed November 24th as World Conjoined Twins Day.
The day commemorates achievements made in the medical field of conjoined twins separation surgery, as well as raising awareness of the humanitarian aspects related to conjoined twins.
