Nadia Aly Wins Bronze in Powerlifting at 2024 Paris Paralympics

Marking Egypt's seventh win at the 2024 Paris Paralympics, Egyptian powerlifter Nadia Aly has scored a bronze medal at the women's above 86-kilogram powerlifting category.
The 50-year-old powerlifter made an impressive win after lifting 141 kilograms on her first trial and 145 kilograms on her second. This is Aly's fifth time representing Egypt in the Summer Paralympics, having participated in the 2000, 2004, 2008 and 2016 competitions. She has also scored medals in the her first three appearances at the global championship.
