Styled Archives: The 2000s Latin Lebanese Star Dolly Shahine

She was the certified 2000s girl crush.

Mai El Mokadem

A Lebanese native with a touch of Brazilian flair, Dolly Shahine is a retired actress who made her cinematic debut in Egypt in 2005. Known for her roles in early 2000s Egyptian hits like ‘Ouija,’ ‘El Mesh Mohandes Hassan,’ ‘Nems Bond,’ and ‘Tatah,’ Shahine's career didn’t stop at acting. She also ventured into music and fashion design, and has since shifted her focus entirely to her singing career, returning to Beirut after her time in Egypt.

Famed for her bold fashion sense, Shahine was often spotted sporting daring looks—think backless gowns, plunging necklines, and cropped tops (before they were cool). In this week’s edition of Styled Archives, we explore her fearless style and most memorable moments.
