Egyptian Journalists Syndicate to Host Book Fair This Fall
The book fair will take place from September 25th to October 5th, with Egypt’s largest publishing houses in attendance.
The Cultural and Artistic Committee of the Egyptian Journalists Syndicate has announced the launch of a book fair in collaboration with the Egyptian Publishers Union.
Taking place from September 25th to October 5th, Egypt’s largest publishing houses will all be in attendance at the book fair, with each publishing house being allocated a pavilion in which to showcase their books. Members of the Syndicate and their families will be eligible for significant discounts.
Numerous cultural seminars, film screenings and theatrical performances will take place on the sidelines of the fair, including a seminar on the history of journalism in Egypt with a focus on the Rawdat Al-Madras magazine founded in 1870, and an event celebrating the publication of a new poetry collection by writer Jamal Bakhit.
