King Khalid Airport Welcomes 3.5 Million Travellers in July 2024
The airport broke a number of operational records this summer, such as processing 130,000 passengers on August 1st alone.

King Khalid International Airport processed 3.5 million passengers in July 2024, breaking its previous record of 3.1 million passengers in June, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The airport also set a new day record on Thursday, August 1st, welcoming 130,000 travellers within a single day. Additionally, the airport achieved a record high seat occupancy rate of 91% in July.
The King Khalid International Airport also managed to maintain an 88% on-time departure rate in June, and an 84% rate in July, despite global aviation challenges.
