Arabic Calligraphy School Opens at Gayer-Anderson Museum in Cairo

The calligraphy lessons will take place every Tuesday and are free to attend.

The Museums Sector of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities has announced that an Arabic Calligraphy School will open at the Gayer-Anderson Museum in Cairo starting July 23rd. The school will be overseen by Walid Hassan Youssef, the General Supervisor of the Manuscripts Center in the Historical Museums Department of the Museums Sector.

The calligraphy lessons will take place every Tuesday and are free to attend. Participants are required to bring sketch paper, a Bali pen, a glass inkwell and a small bottle of Daiso ink.

The Gayer-Anderson Museum welcomes visitors throughout the week, including holidays and official vacations, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
