According to the Saudi Press Agency, the Al Mashaaer Al Mugaddassah Metro Line has successfully operated during this year's Hajj season, transporting over 2.2 million passengers across nine stations in Arafat, Muzdalifah, and Mina, completing 2,206 trips during the season. Claimed to have the highest capacity of any metro system in the world, the train serves exclusively as a shuttle for pilgrims between holy sites in Makkah.

On the first day, the train transported more than 29,000 worshippers. Subsequent trips moved over 292,000 pilgrims from Mina to Arafat and over 305,000 from Arafat to Muzdalifah. During the Tashreeq days, it facilitated transportation for over 1.2 million pilgrims from stations including Mina 1, Mina 2, and Muzdalifah 3 to Mina 3 station (Jamarat), providing convenient access to the Jamarat Bridge.

The Mashaer Train's operational efficiency underscores its pivotal role in facilitating Hajj, reflecting the importance of robust infrastructure in managing the logistical challenges of the annual pilgrimage.
