'Marvels of Saudi Orchestra' Concert Coming to London in September
The concert will unite the Saudi National Orchestra and Choir with the UK's Royal Philharmonic at Central Hall Westminster.
On September 28th, the Saudi National Orchestra and Choir will be joined by the UK's Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Central Hall Westminster for a concert titled ‘Marvels of Saudi Orchestra’.
The event is being organized by the Saudi Music Commission as part of its mandate to promote and raise the international profile and reputation of Saudi artists. It is the latest in a series of concerts held at prestigious venues such as the Place du Châtelet in Paris, the National Theater in Mexico City, and the Metropolitan Opera House in New York.
“The ‘Marvels of Saudi Orchestra’ concert series exemplifies our commitment to cultural exchange on the world stage,” Paul Pacifico, CEO of the Music Commission, tells SceneNowSaudi. “Music is unique in its ability to communicate across languages and borders and to help foster mutual understanding and appreciation.”
The concert is set to feature Saudi musicians and singers performing a variety of pieces reflecting the Kingdom’s diverse musical heritage, as well as members of the Royal Philharmonic performing British classical compositions.
