The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has introduced golf carts for Tawaf at the Grand Mosque in Makkah. These carts aim to assist elderly and disabled individuals during their pilgrimage.
Access to the carts is facilitated through specific entrances, including electric stairs and designated elevators. Operating for 12 hours daily from 4:00 PM to 4:00 AM, the service is exclusively for Tawaf, with a fee of SAR 25 per person. There are 50 golf carts available, each accommodating up to 10 passengers.
Additionally, the last seat of each cart is designated for loading manual carts and other items. Tickets for the service can be purchased at sales points on the rooftop of the Grand Mosque.
