Dubai Metro Phone Booths Offer Free International Calls During Ramadan
The ‘We Bring You Closer’ campaign has installed four phone booths in four different metro stations, including Al Ghubaiba and Jebel Ali.
Special phone booths have been installed in Dubai Metro stations, providing free international calls to metro users during the month of Ramadan as part of Dubai Roads and Transport Authority’s ‘We Bring You Closer’ campaign. Four of these booths have been set up at four metro stations, including Al Ghubaiba and Jebel Ali.
With millions of expats in the Emirate away from home and family during the holy month, the booths offer an opportunity to connect without worrying about pesky international phone charges.
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has organised several other initiatives during the Ramadan season, including the annual Meals On Wheels initiative and the Ramadan Tent Project. Both aim to provide sustenance to employees and customers alike, a combined 10,000 meals between the two initiatives.
