Al Bait Al Duwaliy Real Estate Development, an award-winning property developer based in Dubai, announced a special anniversary art exhibition, the Al Noon Collection, to mark the 10th anniversary of its flagship property, Al Noon Residence. The exhibition, hosted in the gallery at Al Noon Residence, will feature an array of over 40 modern artworks to celebrate 10 years of dedication to the fusion of art and architecture.

The Al Noon Collection showcases the works of top Emirati artist Dr. Najat Makki, whose pieces have received global acclaim. Since its inception in 2014, the in-house gallery at Al Noon Residence has provided a unique platform for both established and emerging regional artists to incorporate art into architectural innovation.

“We are thrilled to celebrate this significant milestone with an exhibition that not only reflects our journey but also envisions the future of art and modern architecture in Dubai,” said Rasha Almutawa, Executive Director of Al Bait Al Duwaliy. “Our passion lies in exploring the convergence of art and design in our real estate projects, and we hope this exhibition inspires a deeper appreciation for Arab art.”

Launched by International House as the UAE’s first art-inspired boutique hotel, Al Noon Residence stands as a pioneering figure in merging contemporary Arab art and architecture. Some of its key contributors in its creation have included Dr. Najat Makki (UAE), Ali Hassan (Qatar) and Khaled Ben Slimane (Tunisia). Each artist contributed their vision to four floors of the building, with Khaled Ben Slimane dedicating a month to creating site-specific artwork and Ali Hassan designing custom pieces for the lobby. This collaborative approach extended to the design of the building’s common areas, resulting in a distinctive artistic experience.

In addition to celebrating the legacy of these artists, the anniversary exhibition will also spotlight works by Lebanese artists Michel El Mir and Hoda Baalbaki. Their paintings, which incorporate motifs from Dubai, offer a fresh perspective on contemporary and abstract art, enriching the exhibition with a diverse array of styles through a wide selection of contemporary and abstract oil paintings as well as calligraphic works.

The 10th-anniversary exhibition will be open with free admission from September 29th to October 31st from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
